Lance Roederer
OWNER
Lance is an Arizona native having grown up in Mesa, AZ and relocated to Flagstaff in the summer of 1985 to attend Northern Arizona University on a Music Scholarship and graduated in 1991. With the launch of Arizona Music Pro in 1994, Lance sought out to build a full service music store that would serve as a hub for local musicians, teachers and touring musicians, a place where all musicians would feel comfortable and want to gather, exchange stories and experiences and most importantly, would receive the highest level of customer support and deep product selection at competitive prices. A classically trained Double Bassist who has dabbled with the guitar, violin, trombone, and a slew of other instruments, Lance currently plays with the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, Sedona Symphony Orchestra and enjoys playing Classic Rock & Blues as well.

Jack McDermitt
STORE MANAGER
An employee here at Arizona Music Pro for over 10 years, as well as a classically trained pianist, Jack takes great pride in his efforts to bring music into the Local Community. When he’s not at AMP helping customers choose their new favorite instrument, you can often catch him attending various local music events, sitting in for local shows, or working on producing new music. Jack has lived in Flagstaff his entire life and has been playing the piano just as long. His intense passion for music and community, combined with years of practical experience, makes him exceptionally well-versed in knowledge about musical gear, music theory, and the vibrant local Flagstaff scene.

Eric Corum
ASSITANT MANAGER
Eric has been going to Arizona Music Pro since he was a little kid, and over the years, he has truly developed a deep connection with the music community. Now, as he has grown older, he’s become an invaluable asset to the AMP team. Eric has always harbored a profound passion for music and live shows, and today he actively contributes to the Flagstaff scene by playing in his own band called Vacant Skies. In addition to his musical endeavors, he is also in charge of shipping and receiving for AMP, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. An aspiring musician with plenty of enthusiasm for live performances and a strong desire to bring music directly to the people, Eric works diligently both in and out of the store to achieve his goals and serve as a reliable point of contact for the Flagstaff music scene. When he’s not on stage or in the recording studio making music, he enjoys spending his free time outdoors, playing video games, and hanging out with friends.

Tony Appelhof
HEAD GUITAR TECHNICIAN
Before Tony came on board at Arizona Music Pro he operated his own business for over 30 years as a handyman. His attitude has always been “If it’s broken, I can fix it." Tony started his music career late in life. He picked up his first guitar at 20 years old and started songwriting. Now 44 years later he has added performing and instrument repair to his list of musical skills.
Today, Tony works as the lead guitar tech for AMP, handling the constant flow of guitars that come in needing repair. Tony is a Bronze level Certified Fender Tech and has attended classes at Roberto Venn School of Luthiery as well. Tony will have your instrument singing like new, with a friendly smile, every time.

Diego Abeytia
WOODWIND/BRASS TECH - INSTRUCTOR
Diego is an Arizona based musician and music educator. Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona Diego started playing the trumpet in 5th grade. In high school Diego started playing the french horn, while continuing to play trumpet in his school's jazz band. After graduating, Diego began attending the University of Arizona Fred Fox School of Music studying music education.
During his time at the University of Arizona, Diego could be seen performing with the UA Wind ensemble, UA wind symphony, UA Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the Vulpes Wind Quintet- a premiere UA undergraduate wind quintet. Outside of the concert hall, Diego spent his time performing as Drum Major of the Pride of Arizona, as well as spending a season marching with The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps on Mellophone. Diego graduated from the University of Arizona in 2021 with a Bachelors in Music Education
After graduating, Diego moved to Flagstaff, Arizona where he teaches music students of all ages in his private lessons studio, works as the Assistant Band Director and co-drill writer for the Coconino High School Band program, and is a wind instrument repair technician at AZ Music Pro.
Diego teaches beginner and intermediate Flute, Alto Saxophone, and Clarinet. As for brass, Diego teaches beginner and intermediate levels for all brass instruments and offers lessons at the advanced level for Trumpet and French Horn.

Ashley Wilson
WOODWIND/BRASS - INSTRUCTOR
Ashley Wilson is an experienced music educator new to Flagstaff. Originally from Missouri, Ashley has earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Missouri Western State University. During college she learned the basics of all instruments including strings, percussion, brass, and woodwinds. She has been playing the saxophone for 14 years as her primary instrument, and has been studying piano heavily after graduating college.
Since moving to Arizona, Ashley has taught the band program at a public school for two years before teaching students privately here at AZ Music Pro. Ashley specializes in woodwind and piano instruction, but is also great for trumpet or trombone.

Brad Bays
Professional musician Brad Bays has been playing guitar for 36 years, teaching for 20 years. He has a BA in music from NAU, many hours recording, countless solo performances, and has played with several bands around the US. Brad teaches classical, jazz, rock, folk, country, slide, and bluegrass styles on guitar. On banjo he teaches bluegrass, clawhammer/frailing, and plectrum styles. He teaches mandolin as well as other folk instruments to all ages and levels of students.

Ceta Singley
Music Instructor
Ceta is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer. Native to Flagstaff, AZ, he has been performing many genres of music in the area for decades. In addition to recording and performance, he has also been selling instruments and teaching at Arizona Music Pro for much of that time. Specializing in music theory, song writing/arrangement, Nashville Number System, and in depth high tech equipment.
Ceta teaches guitar, bass, keyboard instruments (piano, organ, and synthesizer), lap steel/pedal steel, Ableton, drum machines, and much more!

Emilio Ferrara
Drum Instructor
Emilio has been studying and playing music for his whole life. Anything he can get his hands on - Trumpet, Euphonium, Guitar, Piano, Voice, and Drums – have all contributed to his passion for rhythm and theory in music. After his latest passion for the drumkit led to a letter of acceptance at Berklee College of Music in Boston, he knew drums were at the top of his list. His love for rock, alternative, and metal was inspired by bands such as Paramore, Muse, and Of Mice & Men, and have set a strong foundation for fun, heavy hitting, technical drumming that is always a blast to play! He also runs a remote studio business, for which he has played drums with local artists and continues to strive for musical expertise in many facets.

Terry Alan
Music Instructor
Terry is an experienced performer and teacher, primarily with the guitar and bass but also on the mandolin. Having performed in Minnesota Rock bands, worship teams, solo acoustic, and most recently, the Zookeepers as a country player, he brings a wide variety of experiences to his students. There are multiple ways in which the student best accepts the information and the encouragement to improve. Terry has built a music school on the philosophy that anyone can improve their motor skills and enjoy the benefits of music instruction to their overall well-being.
Employing whatever learning style the student needs, and focusing on the music that is enjoyable for the student, Terry is an excellent choice for a well rounded music class, whether you are 4 years old or 84.
Terry’s instruction can bring you to performance levels, suitable for open mics or more, and can include theory, jamming with others, and running the entire sound system or managing a band or worship team.
